Who Is Sal's Kitchen?

Sal’s Kitchen is a personal and private Cheffing project developed by Executive Chef Sal Barragan. Our goal is to provide you with the best tasting, highest quality, food at near comparable restaurant pricing. All this in the comfort of your kitchen, business surroundings, or gathering.

What Services Do You Offer?

We offer a unique brand of personal and private chef services that are specially designed for busy individuals, businesses, and corporations.

Do You Offer Catering Services?

We are personal and private chefs who will go to your home, place of business or event, and prepare, from scratch and on the spot, the meals required for service. We are not caterers and therefore, we do not offer or provide any type of catering service or services. Top of page

I Have A Small Gathering Or Business, Can You Still Help Me?

Our services are geared for and can be tailored to any size project. Consequently, the size of a business or venue does not matter when it comes to assisting those who need us. Also, the basis of our work consists primarily on the complexity of your problem or project. In sum, we can be of assistance at a small (4 to 6 persons) function, or a larger (1000 or more people) event. You’ll be amazed at the ease in which we can perform our duties at any size project. What Is My Incentive To Hire You?

This is easy to answer. Cost, Health & Nutrition, and Comfort. In the area of cost, when you hire us you have control over most of the costs involved to produce a meal, or meals. In the area of health and nutrition, you have even more control since you decide and can see, item-by-item, what is going into the food you are about to consume. In the area of comfort, this should be one of the most important reasons to hire our services because we come in and prepare your meals right in front of you, thus allowing you to sit back, relax, have a glass of wine, and enjoy the experience. The biggest take in this is the knowledge acquired— after we are done preparing your meal, you will have learned the process and steps necessary to recreate the occasion on your own. Also, we do the clean up after each event, this is a common task that most our clients dislike. Top of page

Do You Provide Other Culinary Services Besides Private Cheffing?

Yes we do. We provide culinary training to establishments, professionals, and civilians alike. If you want to train your kitchen staff in the areas of food safety, sanitation, or cooking techniques, just send us an inquiry. Or, if you want to learn how to cook or prepare a specific food in the comfort of your kitchen, contact us about the type of service or food you are interested in.
